What we collect

SnowBlowerHQ has no accounts and no sign-ups. The one place we ask for personal details is the contact form: the name, email address and message you enter there are emailed to us so we can reply, and are not stored on the site. We never ask for payment details.

Like nearly every website, our servers record standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). These are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are rotated automatically.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and comparisons are useful. Google sets cookies to distinguish visitors and reports aggregate traffic to us; we do not see who you are. You can opt out with the Google Analytics browser add-on or by blocking third-party cookies.

Your listing filters are kept in your browser's session storage so returning from a snow blower page restores the list you were on. That data never leaves your browser and clears when the tab closes.

Amazon Associates

SnowBlowerHQ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link, Amazon sets its own cookies so a qualifying purchase can be attributed to us and we earn a small commission. This does not change the price you pay, and commissions never affect how we rank or review machines.

Prices and availability on this site are approximate and based on our last catalog update; the price on Amazon at the time of purchase applies. Amazon's handling of your data is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice.

Third-party links

Some pages link to manufacturer or retailer sites. Once you leave SnowBlowerHQ, those sites' own privacy policies apply — we don't control what they collect.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
